1959 Bally Gun Smoke

Description: Gun Smoke, Bally, 4/59. Bally Gunsmoke is unique in that the targets can shoot back at the player. The targets are motorized and raise up slowly. The player needs to shoot and drop the target quickly, or the targets shoot back at player, after the target is fully raised. This is accomplished by a light that is in the center of the target (usually red.) If the target light flashes, the target shot back at you, and the outlaw score increases. The player's score only increases if the rising target is knocked down before it "shoots" at the player.

The game uses a Colt style pistol as the player's gun. This is a bit of a disadvantage, as that gun is much harder to aim (than say a gun game with a rifle.) Kind of like real life I guess.
