Upon game start, the ball and the bar go to the bottom of the vertical playfield, and a target hole is lit. The game starts with the bottom-most hole lit, and subsequent lit holes become more and more difficult to reach while avoiding unlit holes. The two joysticks control the height of the ends of the metal bar, which moves up and down the playfield, with a steel ball rolling back and forth on the bar. Solidstate technology.
