1957 Chicago Coin Bowling League Bowling Alley

Description: Bowling League (bowling alley), Chicago Coin, 2/57, Chicago Coin's first ball bowler, 3" balls (this is the only ball bowler CCM made with 3" balls), gutters (unlike United and Bally 3" ball bowlers), glass shelf below pins, handicap button. The handicap is an interesting feature. This button (located at the front of the game on the coin door) allows any player to increase their score in 10 point increments in any frame at the beginning of the frame. This allows a player to be spotted 10 (or more) points. "I bet you I can beat your score and I'll spot you 20 points."
