Description: Description: The Who Tommy Pinball Wizard, Data East, 2/94, Multiball and has speech. Designed with the NY theatre license (not the movies from the 1970s.) There were 3500 Dataeast Tommy pinballs were made. Note initially the game was made with a different playfield layout, and then changed for production (to decrease costs.) Pre-production prototypes Dataeast Tommy pinballs were made for promotional use with the off-Broadway play productions, and the prototypes had six pop bumpers (for production the three right side pop bumpers were removed and replaced with a vertical upkicker.) The game made it's debut at the Dallas Hard Rock Cafe in October 1993.
