1936 Pacent Novelty Bolo pinball

Description: Bolo, Pacent Novelty Manufacturing Company, 07/36. First pinball machine designed with bumpers. Each bowling pin, which the balls hit, has a long metal rod that contacts a ring, which triggers scoring from any direction. Two balls for 5 cents, convertable to 5 balls by just adding more balls. A payout and ticket version of the game was made in December 1936. Bally took this idea and improved it for its December 1936 Bumper game. Electro Mechanical pinball (battery power.)
