1938 Exhibit Supply Buttons pinball

Description: Buttons, Exhibit Supply Company, 09/38. Five balls played and ten rollover buttons advance the score. Ten electromagnets beneath the playfield give action to the ball as it travels down the playfield. The electromagnets stay on continuously and only turn off as the ball rollovers a rollover button. This jerks the ball across the magnet, much like is seen on newer games like the Addams Family. The magnets on Lightning are somewhat weak and stay energized as long as the bell timer keeps power to the game. The bottom 1000-point rollover also rings a bell. Esco (Exhibit Supply) also made another game similar to this called Lightning (8/38). Designed by Harry Williams and Lyn Durant. Electro mechanical pinball (electricity 120 volts.)
