1973 Williams Gulf Stream Pinball (1 player)

Description: Williams Gulf Stream pinball (5/73). A single player game that is an add-a-ball game ("Balls to Play" designation on backglass), but is convertable to replay or novelty. Two 3" flippers, two slingshots, three pop bumpers, two kickout holes. A tic-tac-toe style pinball game. The objective is to get three across on the playfield matrix (like tic tac toe). The 100 point relay moves the match stepper to light another orange insert in the matrix. Hitting the center yellow standup target "scores" that matrix position. Getting three in a row lights the two side kickout holes for add-a-ball (or replay). Going over the S P E C I A L rollovers lights the two flipper return lanes for add-a-ball (or replay.) A four player version of this game was made called OXO (5/73) that is very similar. They made 4175 Williams OXO pinball machines. Designed by Norm Clark. Nasty pointy art by Christian Marche.

There is a way to convert Williams Gulfstream to a two ball multi-ball game. More on that later...
