1971 Gottlieb Sheriff Pinball (4 player)

Description: Gottlieb Sheriff pinball. Same game as Gottlieb Lawman, just different number of players (4 players versus 2 players). Gottlieb sold this game design in the two flavors, though they are essentially the exact same game (with slight artwork differences). The 2 player version (Lawman) had a lower price, and was marketed to game operators with less money to spend. The single player version of Sheriff/Lawman is the 1975 Gottlieb Atlantis pinball. Uses a bank of 10 drop targets along the left side of the playing field. Two pop bumpers, two slingshots, and two 3" flippers. On the right side of the playing field there are two vertical lanes of rollovers. A good pinball design with lots of drop targets. They made 2900 Gottlieb Sheriff pinballs, and 1750 Gottlieb Lawman pinball machines. There was also an Italian single player version of this machine called Gottlieb Texas Ranger (1950 made).
