Description: Gottlieb Super Soccer pinball, Gottlieb Soccer pinball. Same game, just different number of players (4 players versus 2 players). Gottlieb sold this game design in the two flavors, though they are essentially the exact same game (with slight artwork differences). The 2 player version (Soccer) had a lower price than the 4 player (Super Soccer), and was marketed to game operators with less money to spend. Two kickout holes, three pop bumpers, two spinners, two slingshots, two 3" flippers. This game used animated backbox red (soccer) balls for the bonus unit. Only a couple Gottlieb pinball games made during the 1970s used backbox animation. Same backbox animation as used in Gottlieb 300. They made 7130 Gottlieb Super Soccer pinballs, and 2900 Gottlieb Soccer pinball machines.
