Big Bang Piggy Bankin slot machine has a 192x64 dot matrix display (DMD) in addition to the three spinning reels. Big Bang Piggy Banking is similar to Piggy Bankin. Has a spinning/bomb bonus round (in addition to the "Break The Bank" coin bank bonus like the original Piggy Bankin'). Also there is a "next pig bonus" for each additional pig once you've eliminated a certain number, based on your wager. In Big Bang, three blanks adds one coin to the coin bank, but only if you were playing the maximum bet Available in 2, 3 and 5 coin versions.

In this game's bonus round the dot matrix has a circle of pigs. A roulette wheel spins on the DMD, landing on a pig, and awarding that pig's additional coins. The pig then turns to a bomb. The process repeats until the virtual roulette wheel lands on a bomb, which blows up and the bonus round is over.

Big Bang Piggy Banking is a non-Telneas game (using 22 reel stops instead of 72 virtual reel stops, which was used on the original Piggy Bankin version). That's because it was released after Wms lost the Telneas lawsuit that was brought on by IGT. Also Big Bang does not have the Elvis pig animations like the original Piggy Bankin used. (Williams had just come off a losing lawsuit with IGT and did not want to risk being sued by Graceland, so the Elvis Pig animations were alegedly removed from Big Bang Piggy. But in reality they are still there, thank ya, thank ya very much.) Finally Big Bang Piggy Banking is not considered a "vulture" game. That's because the "Break the Bank" bonus round happens a lot less than the original Piggy Banking (more coins are needed to get the BtB bonus round), and Break the Bank amounts to far smaller bonuses.
